One Piece Card Game: A Beginner’s Guide to the Booster Sets
The One Piece Card Game has grown quickly since its English launch, and the shelf of booster boxes can look confusing. The good news is that the naming system is simple once you know it.
How the sets are numbered
- OP-xx — the main booster sets, released in order. OP-01 is Romance Dawn, the very first set.
- EB-xx — Extra Boosters, smaller sets that often reprint favourites or focus on a theme, such as Memorial Collection (EB-01).
- ST-xx — Starter Decks, ready-to-play decks built around one Leader.
What’s in a booster box
A standard English booster box contains 24 packs of 12 cards. Each set includes Leaders, Characters, Events and Stages, plus alternate-art and parallel versions of popular cards.
Where should a new player start?
Pick a Leader whose colour and playstyle you like, then open boxes from recent sets that support it. Collectors often start with Romance Dawn because it is the first set, or with whichever set features their favourite crew.
We stock sealed booster boxes from OP-01 Romance Dawn through OP-17. Browse the full One Piece line.
